With over 20 years of production experience in the entertainment and cruise ship industry, Mr. White has built his career bringing quality and innovative entertainment to the public. He has been part of the management and creative teams responsible for overseeing the creation and installation of new productions for Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, The Yachts of Seabourn, Cunard Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International as well as land-based entertainment in Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Palm Springs. He has overseen the day-to-day operations of approximately 60 production shows and has led the new-build installation teams for six new ships for Holland America Line. Most recently he served as Creative Line Producer for Center Stage on Carnival Cruise Line's newest ship, Mardi Gras, and for the Royal Theatre on one of Royal Caribbean’s newest ships, Ovation of the Seas. Originally from Alabama Mr. White hold a B.A. in Musical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton and an M.A. in Arts Management from Rowan University in New Jersey.
JUBEL OBIEN - SHOW DIRECTION, VOCAL DIRECTION & ARRANGEMENT
For the past 8 years, Jubel has coached and trained the over 300 singers a year that are cast for Holland America Line production shows. Daily you can find her molding the performances of the top notch singers and performers in rehearsals. Jubel studied as a soprano in The Metropolitan Opera’s Summer Singers program and spent ten years as an associate vocal coach for legendary vocal coach Seth Riggs. She holds a degree in music production, and business.
On stage Jubel has appeared as a backup singer with Michael McDonald, Jessica Simpson and jazz greats Dave Grusin (The Firm, and The Fabulous Baker Boys), renowned bassist Abe Laborial Sr. (George Benson and Al Jarreau.) She also toured with Paula Abdul as a singer/dancer. Behind the scenes she has directed more than 250 regional productions of Beehive, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof and Steel Magnolias. Her current projects include musical arranging for developing artists under Simon Fuller (American Idol) and Jamie King (Madonna, Ricky Martin), and directing numerous musicals in the Los Angeles area. Her greatest pride, however, is in her own performing arts school where she produces programs for children unable to afford music and acting lessons. Jubel has created musical vocal arrangements for award winning shows on Holland America ships such as Heat, Northern Lights, Rock Legends, Roadhouse, Aces High, and the newest shows now premiering on the seas Elements, Dancin’ and Forever Rock.
BRIAN MONAHAN - LIGHTING DESIGNER
Brian received a 2006 Tony nomination and LA Ovation nomination for his work on the Broadway hit The Drowsy Chaperone. Recently he designed The Disney Symphonic Legacy Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra conducted by John Mauceri. Other designs include Jim Henson’s Bear In The Big Blue House - Live! (U.S. tour); The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Mexico City, Nashville); Disney’s Steps In Time (California Adventure); South Street: A New Musical at the Pasadena Playhouse; Charles Nelson Reilly’s Save It For The Stage: The Life of Reilly; Three Grooms and a Bride and The Worse Thing You Could Have Told Me, starring Dan Butler, all in Los Angeles. He was also the co-designer on The Woman In Black (Old Globe, Off-Broadway). Brian has designed over 30 production shows for both Holland America Line and Carnival Cruise Line. He has designed concerts for Frank Sinatra (12 world tours); Ann-Margret (5 tours); and Charles Aznavour (Carnegie Hall, U.S. tour) among many others.
For television he designed Frank Sinatra’s 75th Birthday Celebration for CBS and The Ultimate Event: Frank, Liza and Sammy for Showtime for which he won a cable ACE Award. Brian has also worked on the Broadway and National Tour productions of Stardust, Metro, Lettice & Lovage, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, Dream: The Johnny Mercer Musical and Footloose: The Musical.
AARON JACKSON - CREATIVE DIRECTOR - DIRECTOR - SCENIC DESIGNER
Aaron has over 18 years experience working in the entertainment industry in a wide range of roles. His most recent projects include directing Soulbound and Voodoo Moon for Carnival Cruise Line. As a Scenic Designer he has designed numerous productions for Theaters across the country including Phoenix Theatre Company, Childsplay, The Jubilee Theatre, The Texas Star Theatre, Amphibian Productions and more. He has designed concert scenery for Barry Manilow and Lorna Luft, was a Design Producer for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC) and has designed for numerous cruise lines including Holland America, Celebrity, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas. Aaron also spent 14 years as the resident designer for Shakespeare by the Sea, designing over 20 productions. He has been nominated numerous times for the Arizoni Award of Theatre Excellence, (Phoenix, AZ) and won in 2013 for his design of Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson.
Outside of theater and live entertainment, Aaron has worked in theme park development, show development and as a general concept artist with a client list that includes Mercedes-Benz, IMAG Productions, Design Cure, Splashtacular Inc, Miley Cyrus and Bad Things (Shawn White) among others. Most recently he worked with Mousetrappe as a Layout Designer for Disney Hollywood Studios “Star Wars: A Galactic Extravaganza,” and co-founded an online escape room company Wild Hare Escapes for which he serves as the Art Director. Aaron holds a M.F.A. from Rutgers University. He has taught classes for the University of California Irvine, Rutgers University and Chapman University and has taught seminars for the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit and the Instituto Cultural Dominica Americana in the Dominican Republic.
DAVID PROFETA - COSTUME DESIGNER
David was the resident designer at La Habra Depot Theater during his studies in Costume Design at California State University Fullerton. After graduation, he joined Elizabeth Courtney Costumes and assisted with designs for Cher, Mitzi Gaynor and Debbie Reynolds. For fifteen years, he served as costume designer for Mattel Toys and created the overall conceptual design for Mattel’s presentations at the annual international toy fairs.
David’s film and television credits include: Cat in the Hat, Haunted Mansion, The Inside, America’s Strangest Family, English for All, Santa Clause 3, American Dreams, Beautiful Dreamer, The Third Nail, and Sons & Daughters. He has been the costume and wardrobe supervisor for the opening and closing ceremonies at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games and the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. He is a two time Emmy Award winner for the 2006 Salt Lake City Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies. For the past ten years, he has been the costume designer for the All City Band in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade and since 2005 has been the wardrobe supervisor for the nationally and internationally televised Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe Pageants. Most recently, David served as the costume designer and supervisor for Madonna.
JILL HILLIER - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER
Jill has had the great fortune of working as Associate Director/Choreographer on major tours and residencies for some of the biggest pop stars in the world. She started off 2021 as Associate Director to acclaimed tour director Jamie King on Ricky Martin’s US tour with Enrique Iglesias. She also worked with Jamie on Ricky’s All In residency in Las Vegas and Movimiento world tour, Nicki Minaj’s 2017 performance at amfAR, Jennifer Lopez’s Dance Again tour, QViva Live at Mandalay Bay, Celine Dion’s Taking Chances Tour, and The Spice Girls Reunion Tour. Adding to her list of Vegas Residencies, Jill recently acted as Assistant Director for Gwen Stefani’s Just a Girl at Planet Hollywood and choreographed After Dark featuring the ultimate jazz musician Brian Newman.
In addition to the "Pop World", Jill enjoys creating shows for cruise lines such as Carnival, NCL, Oceania, Regent, Holland America and Celebrity. She is also the Choreographer/Creative Director for the å cappellla sensation Straight No Chaser’s live tours and PBS specials and the Resident Director/ Tour Manager for The Choir of Man which tours the US, Australia and performs on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Escape and Encore.
For film and television, Jill worked with Adam McKay on the Netflix film Don’t Look Up where she designed a concert scene with Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi. She worked with Simon Cowell’s boyband PRETTYMUCH on their performance at the 2017 TCAs! Todrick Hall had Jill coordinate and co choreograph his opening number at Nickelodeon’s 2014 Kids Choice Awards as well as a number of his YouTube videos. Other TV credits include Lip Sync Battle, Dancing with the Stars, VH1’s Ricky Martin special, Q Viva the Chosen for Fox, MTV’s Made, USA’s The Moment, Celine Dion’s CBS special, Nickelodeon’s birthday special with Geri Halliwell, and numerous award shows.
