VOODOO MOON was created for Carnival Cruise Line's Center Stage Productions.

After a year-long delay in production due to the COVID-19 shut down, it debuted as the crown jewel of the New Orleans Celebration evening on the inaugural voyage of the CARNIVAL MARDI GRAS, October 28th, 2021.

VOODOO MOON takes a wide range of pop hits from the last 4 decades from artists such as The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Ne-Yo, Kansas, Bon Jovi, and The Police, reimagining and weaving them into an epic southern rock adventure.

The story was envisioned as a prequel to 2 Creative's original hit SOULBOUND for Carnival Horizon, telling the tale of how the Witch Queen came into  her powers
.

In VOODOO MOON, we follow our dark heroine, a young and innocent swamp Witch who fashions love spells for those who seek her out with the help of a voodoo heart amulet which is the source of her power.

Unbeknownst to her, she has piqued the interest of the Shadowman, a powerful voodoo god who delights in causing mischief.  The Shadowman tricks a local vampire into glamouring the Witch and stealing her amulet which in turn leads the Witch to summon the Shadowman begging him to help her recover her stolen amulet not realizing he instigated the theft to begin with.

The Shadowman graciously agrees to help her recover her heart, but there is always a price...  in return, she must surrender her heart to him forever.

The Witch agrees and their bargain is sealed. The Shadowman lends her his Shadow Army to help hunt down the Vampire.

After finally catching up with him at a Mardi Gras masquerade ball, the Witch defeats the Vampire, regaining her heart and banishing him to another plane.

But no sooner than she regains her power, the Shadowman returns to collect on their bargain.  He demands her heart and her soul for all eternity.

The Witch is seemingly left with little choice other than surrender, but at the last moment she discovers her own inner power and decides to destroy her own heart rather than be ruled by the Shadowman.

With the amulet destroyed, the Shadowman is left to slink away back into the shadows, vowing his revenge.
